Description
Vitamin C Time Release - 150 tablets
Vitamin C is a well-known and commonly used nutrient that, unlike most animals, humans cannot synthesise in the liver. Hence we need to supply it to the body.
Vitamin C plays many roles in the body, including providing support to the immune system; building collagen; supporting the health and structure of bones, teeth and blood vessels; acting as a powerful anti-oxidant; supporting the adrenal glands, and supporting the cardiovascular system. It is a water-soluble vitamin, and any extra amounts are excreted from the body regularly.
Therapeutic Use
Vitamin C Timed Release allows the more efficient use of this vitamin by slowly releasing it into the body. Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant and can be useful where the dietary intake is inadequate. It can provide support to the immune system, particularly during the cold and flu season. Vitamin C can also assist wound healing and tissue repair.
