St Mary’s thistle may help to protect liver cells from harm caused by toxic substances.
St Mary’s thistle and taurine may also assist digestive function and may help indigestion, nausea and bloating.
May be helpful for gall bladder conditions.
Taurine is required for the manufacture of bile, thus helping fat digestion and the excretion of cholesterol from the body.
Selenium is a powerful antioxidant that may help to protect liver cells from free radical damage.
Selenium forms a vital part of glutathione; if selenium levels are inadequate glutathione is unable to protect the liver against toxic substances.

Each Tablet contains:

Herbal extract equiv. to dry:
Silybum marianum (St Mary’s thistle) fruit 17.5g; equivalent flavonolignans calculated as silybin 200mg; Taurine 500mg;
Selenium (as selenomethionine) 50mcg.

This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 100mcg from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Selenium containing products are not suitable for use by children under the age of 15 years.

Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Drink plenty of water.
